Suddenly Can't Recruit Farkas
To start, I have three mods that I suspect may be a part of this: AFT (Amazing Follower Tweaks), MYiYH (My Home is Your Home), and Marriage Mod - To Have and To Hold (it allows polygamy).

The character I'm playing is polygamous and married both Vilkas and Farkas. Farkas was the second marriage, and this is notable because as it stands Vilkas doesn't seem to have the "married" script working for him (I can ask him for food or to move and that's it), and he makes no romantic comments.

I have a modded home (Whitehall, for anyone who's familiar) and made it the home for the three of us. I'm also Harbinger of the Companions at this point and cleansed myself, Farkas and Vilkas of our wolf spirits. Now I can take radiant quests from them and have been doing so quite a lot.

Most recently, I had three followers with me: Vilkas, Farkas, and a modded NPC named Kaidan. After completing a radiant quest and turning it in, I had Farkas unfollow me so I could get a new quest from him. He asked about dragons and I accepted the quest to kill one with him. I'd already done this quest for him once before, so I thought it was odd it could come up again as if we'd never slain a dragon together before.

Thing is...he didn't follow me again. I went and killed the dragon and he wasn't there. Afterwards I turned in the quest to him, figuring that would fix it (spoiler: it didn't). Now I can't recruit him as a follower, and strangely, he says nothing when I open dialogue with him, as well.

I kind of brushed it off, figuring I could fix it later, and continued questing. Every so often I checked back in with him to see if he fixed himself. He has not. I can accept quests from him and he'll call me "dear" and give me money from his store, but that's it.

I really, really don't want to go back to the last save I have from before this glitch because that was a long, long time ago, now. Since then I sacked Whiterun on behalf of Ulrich, did a number of quests for my modded NPC, killed several dragons, and progressed the story to Blackreach.

Any advice? I tried to use the "setfollowercount" command, the "sexchange" command, and the "moveto" command, as all were advised in other threads but none of them have worked thus far. I've also tried clearing my follower count and then accepting the Dragon Seekers quest from him and completing it, but that hasn't worked, either. Worse, after doing this twice in a row he won't give me quests anymore.

I'd rather not go back to the last save I have before this because it's a 10-hour time difference, and at that point I hadn't even joined a faction yet.

Load a save from before you used the sexchange command, that will have broken something.

Well I'll need to anyway to get Farkas back, I only did that command cause it was recommended. I just really don't wanna have to go back 10+ hours of gameplay on that character. Can't be helped, I suppose.
