HUD Completely Disappeared (No Mod)
This issue only happens with one of my characters. No UI or HUD will show up, No Items menu, No subtitles, No Health Bar etc. not even Pause Menu when I pause the game(though the game will still pause). The only thing that shows up is Console. I've tried using command "tm" and load many saves of that character. Nothing works. However, The other characters don't have this problem at all. My game is vanilla, never install any mods at all. Pls help I spent so many times in this character and I don't want to start over again.

Use the console command "tm" without quotes. You'll know if the console is up when everything in the background pauses.

Open the game and at the main menu just after the bethesda video, Open the console and use this:
coc riverwood

Do you have a hud now?

I have the same problem
A few days ago I bought a skyrim special edition. Today I wanted to start a new game without mods but there is no hud.

I had this issue and resolved it by removing a mod I had installed just before the problem occurred. The mod that was conflicting with hud for some reason was Interesting NPC's.
I manually placed it in my skyrim data folder and skyrim didn't like that.

I am having the same problem but I don't have mods, have never had mods, and it won't let me access the main menu to exit

Edit: I force closed the game and booted it up again and everything was fine

Not my discovery but someones else's I read awhile ago, change the shadow settings from whatever you have them at, and then boot the game. If that doesn't fix it, force quit then change the settings back. If that doesn't work, you could try to fenangle a Console Command in-game to kill yourself, that last one worked for me, and the first two I personally haven't tried, but I remember a lot of people thanking who posted it, so it worked for most.
Hope this helped trouble-shoot, perhaps not the OP, but maybe whoever-else found their way here like I did. :)
