Having problems with the Undeath lich mod.
So i''ve been looking at the path of transcendance quest on google and it says in one part "the dragonborn has to put on the black/green shroud of Vyngald, but i can't because it's a tool located in the misc section not apparel, I clicked on the shroud in the misc section but nothing happens. Once i do the unbind soul spell then drink the Elixir of Defilation my character does the soul thing but doesn't transform into the lich, he just limps around as if he's essential, Did i do something wrong?

P.S sorry for my terrible spelling and bad grammar.

You'd have better luck asking on the mod page.

I found out that if you're a vampire it breaks the lich transformation, so if you're a vampire try curing yourself!

Haven't played this in a while but iirc you have to have quite a bit of magicka to complete the transformation. Otherwise you just limp around. I want to say something like 400 magicka?

20k huh?

Hard to say what scripts you managed to break then.

I have a rocky relationship with bethesda games and breaking them :P

Most of us do but using exploits to get silly high numbers is one of the better ways to break a save which is why its not recommended to use them on a playthrough you care about.

Instead of buffing your mana that high, next time go for the cost reduction exploit, it should be slightly safer. 😇

i don't actually use any exploits, i just use the console commands :P

Ironically the exploits are safer for your save than the console is.

Most console commands are completely unsafe.

Yes I said unsafe, as in dangerous.

Thanks for all the help guys, but i've found out in the comment section of the undeath mod that other people have had the same issue i've had, and there's been no fix so i have just removed it for the time being. Thanks for all the support! It's good to know the SE community is very helpful.
