I would suggest using the Nexus Mod Manager instead.

I am also having this exact same issue, just started today. If anyone has a solution I would love to know because this is the only mention I can find of it anywhere online.

I too am having the same problem. I have tried removing mods, reinstalling the game, everything.

Have you found a fix for this? I am having the same issue and cannot find a solution anywhere. I actually reinstalled my skyrim just to see if that would work to no success.

I like the mod manager in Skyrim SE because I can download all of them at once with no speed cap. Unlike Nexus :( Im not saying that as someone who hasnt used it, I've used it for a long time with Skyrim/FO3/FO NV/FO4.

I just ran into the same problem this morning with the mod library not loading and getting the "better hair" update (seems like every version for that mod is trying to show)!!! I don't even remember downloading it and can't find anything on the Nexus website for it either,I think the author was Bob Cook....but don't quote me on that. Guess I will keep using Nexus Mod Manager and FNIS until they/someone gets it straightened out. If anyone has any info on this matter please help us out.

I was reluctant to at first but I also went back to NMM and it was worth the effort.

Had same problem, just fixed it. Go to your steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/data/interface folder and delete modmanager. Boom! It works!

When you pay money for a product, you expect the built-in functions to work. How exactly are we being 'privileged' when we ask for a way to fix something broken? Check your manners.
