It can take like 3 game days or something for them to be harvested.

The actual harvest point can be annoying on hearthfire crops. Are you sure there's no harvest point or clicking on the planter by mistake?

Yeah, I had this issue as well. Only real solution I found is if you want to grow creep cluster, it has to be inside the greenhouse, and even then you can only grow them on the ends of the main planters I find.

crouch down and look above the crop (the hit box is a square)

Did they ever become harvestable for you ?

I have two save files (different characters, no mods) and Creep Cluster is harvestable on one, but not the other. I thought it just took a few days to grow so thought it was odd nothing was able to harvest yet (other plants in garden are). Went in the house and slept for a week just to see what would happen (not counting the days that passed before realising and checking) and still nothing on the creep cluster.

Hoping that maybe if I take them out and replant they will grow/harvest next time. Just have to find/buy more first.

In the outside garden they can be hard to harvest. When growing them in the green house plant them in one of the planters that line the walls, where it's by itself. The harvest selection is easier to find that way.

Yea that is what it was, the harvest trigger is really bad depending where you put them. I noticed just before when i went into my garden the text flickered for a second so i knew there must have been a harvest option. Just had to back away from the plant more and aim above it instead of at it like the other plants. Replanted them in a different spot (same as my other save) so it's earier to notice.

What I did to fix this is to go in console by pressing the tilde (~) key on your keyboard and typing in "tcl" without the quotation marks. From there carefully guide your character to the edges of the Creep Cluster plant on the fertile soil and you should see the option to harvest it by playing around a bit with angles.
