32 bit computers have been obsolete for a very long time now, it just took awhile for the operating systems to catch up.

Thing is, if I decommision my deliberately 32 bit five year old lappy, how am I supposed to play my catalogue of old 16 bit games? Horses for courses.

No, the game won't even boot up with a 32 bit system. You can play a 32 bit game on a 64 bit OS, but you can't do it the other way around.
