Horizontal sword animation

Maybe I didn't realize it from the original version but when I attack with a 1-handed sword equipped in the left hand, I always do a regular horizontal swing from the left every single time. I thought regular attack animations would change depending on which way you moved the character. I'm also noticing that when I do a power attack, it is always a spinning animation from the left no matter which way I press, it only changes if I do a non moving power attack in which case I do a power thrust. The only mod I have activated is Alternate Start, nothing else.

It's been awhile since I played the original version, so this could have definitely been a thing in the original and I just dont remember.

That only works when it's in your right hand. And the animation only changes with power attacks while moving.
