yeah I don't think I would either werewolf seems more my play style

Well you can still become vampire even if you side with the Dawnguard and I like their crossbows.

It all depends on the way you play. I prefer the Melee combat, so I'd go with th Dawnguard... But for mages and that kind of thing it may be better to choose the vampire questline

Make 2 characters, have one go vampire and one go dawnguard ;)

Vampires downsides are too irritating to me and constant need to feed (especially if you fast travel) is so annoying, feels like a chore. New special vampire spells are not that great and only vampire lord transformation worth the time. But becoming vampire just for transformation and dealing with all horrible negatives not worth it!

Not to mention vampires are evil. They should burn in oblivion

That or you could always make a save before you start with the vampire and or dawnguard and then after you complete the quest if you didn't care that much for it in the beginning you could then join the other faction?

I thought I would like vampire more but ended up not liking it. Wasn't a fan of the vampire form. That being said I don't like playing werewolf form either. Werewolf is less evil. I also found myself wanting to kill all the vampires as soon as I met them. FInal suggestion. Save. Do the start quest to meet the vamps. Gain hatred for vamps. Reload then kill vamps.

both forms are crap they only good when your low level. vampire lord form is bad cause spells dont scale up. werewolf form bad cause well no armor/resistance rating awhile in form so you will get one shoted a lot. vampire is better than werewolf though only cause of the passives you get to make OP gear.

Well, if you play properly as a werewolf, it can be a lot more powerful... Just get the whole right side of the perk tree and you're done. send your enemies away and stun them with stikes and mauls... it's so beautiful

other then a few vampire trinkets do dawnguard better weapons more armor and the spells are great since there are tons of undead in Skyrim.

A Vampire stealth DB/TG character is op as hell though.... use the bow and the blood arrows to make it night time all the time ;) people in towns will get freaked out too funny as hell. And go vamp lord when you just wanna reck ♥♥♥♥ hehe

shame there ant a mod to some how cross them both then be a god then kill them all
