GLORY OF DEAD crash [FIX]!!
Yo I had the infamous crash during the "Glory of Dead" quest for the Compagnions. When entering the tomb of Ysgramor, I was met with a crash anytime I walked too far, so I just walked in BACKWARDS and nothing crashed!! For the next few chambers I was able to look around freely.

Now, later on, after the spiders it crashed again, same solution, just walk backwards, it's hella hard to kill the bad guys, but it worked out in the end. When you approach the final chamber make sure you dont look at the end of it, especially the back right corner.

When you kill the spirit just walk back with the same routine. I still managed to get the shield from the chest in the back right corner as long as i didnt look that way. It took me a solid hour to figure it out, restarting my PC anytime it happened. This solution might just have been for my, but the crashes were too consistent and similar imo.

If any of you are unlucky enough to encoutner the same problem, I hope this will help <3

"Many" is not really a question. Amount of mods does not cause problems for the game. Their quality does.

For example, I have over 230 mod folders active in MO for Skyrim LE and my game is perfectly stable. You can have 100 mods with 1000 scripts each and they will act just fine. You only need 1 mod with 1 completely lunatic script that can cause a lot of problems in the game.

I've got the Special Edition. So I guess all the mods ingame are verified and proper. I only got about 10 mods running. I read online that it is a common crash and was really excited to have figured it out for myself.

This would be a good place to start.

Skyrim Special Edition Nexus Nexus Mods

In the main menu there is a mod section for verified mods, good ones already. But yea, nexus is the place to be for other and more adult themed mods
