"Bethesda recently confirmed that PS4 users will be limited to just 1GB of modding data, compared to the 5GB limit on Xbox One."
I mean... C'mon Sony.
I haven't read anything about only being allowed to use game assets. Is there an article on that somewhere? I'd be interested in reading it, just for kicks.
Oh, and yeah, I found it.
"The Xbox One version was always going to have the upper hand over the PS4, ever since Bethesda confirmed that external assets had been banned by Sony."
Ouch. Ridiculous.
pretty much the better xbox mods do, the more likely sony would be to cave.
They should once it starts costing them money. Which it will. Now that there's a precedent for modding scenes on consoles (there were, but it's more popular now) we might start seeing it more and more often. Eventually that's going to become a factor in whether or not people buy console A or console B. Microsoft is very liberal towards mods, so...
Why should outsider Ass be allow to be involved?
But MODing Skyrim SE on PC will fk your Game up...
Trying to get these on the PS4 is a waste of time...
MODS on SE don't work like they do on the Original, & they warn you not to use them...
It sux, but they just really don't want anyone to use MODS anymore... ~_~
The only people who are currently using MODS are 1 of 2 sets of people...
Either they have no Progress showing for their Game
Or
2, they used a MOD to fix it, & could possibly get banned for it later...
Your going through so much hastle for something that the company doesn't even want anyone to use in the first place... And will Penalize you for doing so...
Do you really need MODS that bad, that your willing to screw up your Game to get it?
Btw? MODS affect your Progress, how certain are we that Achievements are the only thing affected?
Even if PS4 gets MODS for Skyrim SE, there are a bunch of things you can do to fix the Game if you remove the MODS, but the only way to truely be certain MODS are gone, is if you completely re-Buy the Game all over again on a new PS4 Account...
I don't know how bad the MODs effects your Game, or your PSN Accounts, but your asking for trouble, to me, I think...
If it was just me, i'd avoid it all together...
