Quest markers

The quest markers are buggy as heck. Sometimes there'll be a marker over a person's head, other times there won't be. But the local map will show the marker there at least.
It's annoying...

Is anyone else having this issue?

Sometimes you just need to wait it out, use T to jump a couple of game hours.

Well, it happens on pretty much every quest there is. That's a lot of waiting:/ But i'm gonna try that at least. Could help when i just can't find something at all.

I use the unofficial patch if that helps. I don't have what you describe. Rarely does it not show quest marker over npc, but when it does I use the solution above.

I use that patch too. Maybe it's one of my mods that ♥♥♥♥♥ things up. I guess i'll resort to enable/disable mods until i find the culprit:/

USSE pacth tends to fix missing markers, wrong markers and bugged quest.
without it a great bunch of quest will not work.
any mod that edits content again and overwrite scripts from that patch will break the quests again!
most stable play is use that patch and mods without scripts, since mods with scripts tend to break the quests again.
simple way to fix delted mods that add pex files!

yepp pretty much if want to have quests work that patch must be the last mod
since loots will use other mods as last that have scripts it will break the quests!
savest is still use mods that do not add quests and do not change quests except for that unofficial patch.
if you use mods that add quest or change quest be advised quest will be broken
those mods that add quest must be loaded befor the unofficial pacth!
mods that do break tthe quest with the unofficial pacth should be uninstalled and not used, unless you enjoy to have all the quest broken again.

I moved the USSE to the bottom of the list, which fixed things only as i loaded the game, but then it broke again as i left the room i loaded into. I tested my mods, and it seems a mod called RS Children Overhaul is what ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my game.

I found that it was because I had too many active quests being tracked.

I will have to check this, too. Because since a few hours i have the problem of missing Questmarkers, too ... but i also have a lot of quests in my log.

I cant talk for other mod here, and 2 years later, but somehow i just got the same issue in town Quest marker and not on world map. ( and that point me to my world quality map just added mod with quest marker issue. from nexus, i cant say its same on other world map mod, problem seem to point at that in my case.

i have under 10 mods installed, there is nothing to change
book glow
ore glow
faster mining
faster wood chopper
esstials follower
skyui
run for your lives dragon and vamp attacks.
- quality world map removed ( problem solved )

and thats why i made the reply this is logic then i have no other things that actual has to do with map, i will replky to 2 other old poat and i have nothing to do with it other then im a player here like you. i will not help with mod issue here. the other helper here know way much more then me i was odrim player not SE
