Mod to increase contrast?
Anyone know of a mod or tweak for SE that increases the contrast? I'm out around Morthal and the landscape seems washed out almost like there's too much fog. This isn't the only area but seems the norm wherever I go.

Have a look over on Nexus, there are a few reshader mods there, and make a big difference in bloom, Lux.. etc..

Yeah, I looked there but all are for the original version, not SE. Maybe the authors will recompile them for the SE version in the near future.

You can also turn off/on the effects with the hotkeys..

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Best thing you can do is get a lighting/weather mod that alters the crappy default HDR settings. Realistic Lighting Overhaul and NLA are probably the best for recreating natural looking atmosphere, while Purity and Vivd weathers look great also, some of the edits have way too much contrast, creating overly bright clouds and pitch black shaded areas.

OP, you realize that Skyrim is a far north environment, right?

use vivid weather, it has ingame saturation, bloom, brirhtness controll..works like a charm, and
without skse.......very clever done.

You can turn down the brightness under display settings, It really helps to knock it down 30% under the default.

Surprisingly, the 'No Fog' mod took care of the fog and improved the contrast, both without a framerate hit.

But, thanks to all you guys for the help. Much appreciated.
