I need help with Vigilance.

I am pretty sure Vigilance died. My character at the moment is level 28, and my last save is 23, so I dont really want to go all the way back just to have him.

I was wondering if there was any console commands to bring him to me. I have tried

"player.placeatme 0009A7AAA"

but all I got was

"Compiled script not saved."

His body is missing, I have tried backtracking, I am unable to find.
I also did check many sites on how to bring back vigilance and nothing worked.

You could try looking up his normal Id and just spawning him. THIS would create a new vigilance rather than bringing your old one back, but at least you would have him. Just be careful. THIS can cause some glitches because the game thinks he is alive and dead at the same time and it might break some scripts.

Im pretty sure that is his normal ID? I did see another person use 0009A7ABA

Oh well. If you want your vigilance you need his reference id which is different than his model id. All npcs have two ids.

Uhh, it brought me back to the normal sites that were not that useful, do you know his ref id?

I do not have it on hand. I was more of a meeko guy myself. There should be a list of all vanilla npc ref id's somewhere though.

I heard that he cant be brought back even with console.
You ever heard of this?

I know vigilance is a bit different because he is bought and I do have issues resurrecting meeko a lot because he is a dog. Could be that you'll have to just reload.

My last save is 6 levels back. Is there a way to go back through each of my quicksaves?

I think they save over each other. You could go into the skyrim files outside the game and look though. I haven't played around with that.

i cant seem to find my saves anywhere, even when i added hidden files.
