House buying problem (Don't take money, don't give key)
So, as the title say, i can't buy house because each time i talk to the stewart (Any one, the bug is the same everywhere) the option to buy is here, but, when i click on it to buy it he say
It's yours, here's the key
But he don't give any key and don't take my cash. Do you have any idea on how to fix that or a way to directly have the house without going by the stewart.
Thanks

for me it says I don't have the money even though I do. Not sure why i am having this problem never did before.
Only way to buy a house is via the stewart, if the game is selling you the house, ie the scripts are actually being run, then you could always just use console command player.additem, but you would have to google the id for the house key ie player.additem 00093b08 1

But if the game hasn't run the script, then getting inside won't help, because the bed won't work, and the storage will reset every so often, deleting items. basically when you get inside go to the bed (a sleeping bag style arragment on the floor), if it allows you to use it, you're ok, if it doesn't, then the game is recognising that you've bought the House.

There's a problem I haven't seen before. Are you running the unoficial patches? Probably has nothing to do with the bug, but it's the first thing to recommend if you aren't. I'm wondering if your money got corrupted in some weird way? Try dumping evey septim in the nearest barrel (or body) then console in fresh cash ie player.additem f <XXX> where X is the amout you just dropped

Ok, The problem is in the HousePurchase quest, which DOES get overloaded by Unofficial SE patch (ESSEP) In the Whiterun branch, on player dialogue view"I'll take it" (Available on having enough gold etc), it is set to execute a fragment in TIF_000A7B1E script. Problem is , original Skyrim.esm indicates Fragment_0, whereas USSEP indicates Fragment_1. And of course, USSEP.bsa includes the version of that script that has Fragment _1. Except if you ever unpacked scripts.zip in your Data and did a recompile, you are back to original Fragment_0 script.
No idea why USSEP overloads it, cause its Fragment_1 and original Fragment_0 are identical.

What you can do:
Do into your Data/scripts. Look for TIF__A7B1E.pex and delete it.
While at it, remove
TIF__000A7B2A.pex (Windhelm)
TIF__000A851F.pex (Solitude)
TIF__000A7B28.pex (Riften)
TIF__000A7B23.pex (Markarth)

I tried this and found only one item in the scripts folder and none of these. I've had this prob for several playthroughs.

Well I've had this prob for several playthroughs, I usually only buy Honeyside in Riften and even though the words are said by Anuriel there is no notice in the top left of the screen indicating getting key or taking gold. After seeing someone else had this prob I tried to buy the Whiterun house and had the same non-result.

I tried the delete thing but there is only one item in Data/Scripts and it is none of the above. I can live without buying houses (I use Cheat Room), but I would like to hear some other solution than the Data/Script folder. And while I am at it Lydia has no hands, and Briarhearts have invisible armor, just floating heads and feet, I can still shoot them with KY windage, but it looks dumb.

To solve it, I disabled the Unofficial SE patch, entered the game, and it made me buy the house and decorations (and then, of course, re-enabled the mod). I don't know if it's a good thing to do to disable and re-enable the mod, but it worked.

It's never a good thing to do.
It has a high probability (Yes, Probability not Possibility) of introducing Bugs to the save you did it on.

That fix worked but now I'm having a similar issue with the furnishings of the house. I was curious are their any scripts in USSEP that cause this or is it a problem with another mod I have installed

i have considered installing mod that leaves key somewhere for you. Go in house,
deinstall mod, see if i can still enter house ... install another mod of same house
where you have to go outside with all and save, that solves the problem of "disappearing
stuff"
Have not tested it though

disclaimer: Me a Noob

You cannot uninstall mods and then continue on the same save - you must go back to a save made before the mod was installed (there are a couple of exceptions, prominently mentioned at the very top of the below linked post - this is not one of them, regardless of what the mod author or anyone else may say). See:
You CANNOT Remove Mods Mid-Playthrough - http://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/1520386297681801135/

... a Save before the mod was installed ... This one centence of yours pulls, the statement, "you CANNOT Remove Mods Mid-Playthrough" ... into a understandable perspective.
I somehow misunderstood that till now :)

... ok ... i shall keep my notebook handy ... in grabbing distance :D

edit: I can see now, why profiles are handy

I think i have to read that thread you gave, a few times ... damn ... thats a lot of info
to chew on ...
