Disenchanting an armor with fortify carry weight
Well, I want this enchantment but it seems to be rare and I can't disenchant the thieves guild armor.

So I used a console command to get an imperial armor with the enchantment but then I can't disenchant it?

It says that I already have the enchantment. However it doesn't show up at all. I have a fortify stamina one though and I used that on a dummy armor but it didn't seem to affect carrying fapacity.

Any help please...?

Edit: Thanks for the help guys

You have to use armor pieces that the enchantment can go on. Iirc, boots are one of them.

What command did you use ? From what I've read in another thread "playerenchantobject" command gives you an item with the enchant you want but the item can't be disenchanted. You need to use the additem command with one of the item found here[en.uesp.net]

If you Disenchanted Fortify Carry Weight then you can only use it on proper pieces. There's a great chart you can reference here:
http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Enchanting_Effects#Apparel_Effects

As you can see, Fortify Carry Weight can go on: jewelry, hand wear, and foot wear.

Yeah I read something about it too. So I got imperial boots too but they didn't seem to work...

basic unmodded disenchantment and enchantment function

enchants can be disallowed for disenchantment by having its keyword linked to the item

jewelry has no enchantment restriction

weapon, armour, boots, helemt, gloves and shiields have each there own enchantment resitrictions

restriction si mostly what type of enchantment are allowed to be place on certain type of equipment thsi is limited within the enchantment formlists for each enchantment restriction

enchantments can contain up to 12 set magic effects/perks per enchantment the most common is 3-5 at moste.
script can be linked to perk and magic effects

what means that the linked script will work on the enchantment as long you added the perk/ magic effect that has that script linked to it and those script will then be linked to any item that has that enchantment

you can also add script to your specific jewelry, weapon or armour

keywords work like state setters to tell the engien how the engine shall mange the item with the linked keyword.

there is no data verification on the engine during gameplay,
thats why you can get data overflow
when a vaule gets out of bound ->what can lead to broken savegames

since there is no proper limit management due to preformance enhancement for this reason we will see more bugs the longer you play a save game simply because the engine doesno data verification during gameplay!

Data verification include check for limit reach if the data used might corrupt data and preventing overflow into other data is also part of data verification
what is all disabled during gameplay to enhance game preformance.

hope this helps a bit of more technical understanding of whats going on while you play
