Battlemage is different from a Nuker.
that kind of battlemage i was takin bout..
imo, a wizard more like staff thing on 1 hand (like gandalf)
or regular mage/sorcerer that capable of all magic (restor/alter/destruct/illus/conjure)
So, spellsword? Also, you just laid out about 75% of the build: One Handed and Destruction. I'd also use Restoration, Alteration, and then an armor skill of your choosing (Heavy, Light, or Robes/Clothes if you want to be more "magey").
but it looks ugly if i wore helmet, so circlet instead, me char is a woman anyway and this until i found proper priest mask.
kinda inspired from Kingdom of Amalur card/fate :)
Me, when I hear Battle-Mage, I think of the ones from Morrowind and Oblivion, which were almost always described as wearing heavy armor.
i forgot to level up enchanting, smithing instead... :(
Same here. Heavy Armor with a Mage Hood, 1-handed melee and a spell in the other hand.
Spellswords typically go for Light Armor or Robes to negate the Heavy Armor movement penalty.
They also tend towards the low-to-midrange Destruction, like Freezing Whirlwind, Flames, or Sparks.
Battlemages only use the Hard Stuff: Incinerate/Fireball/Fire Storm, Thunderbolt/Chain Lightning'Lightning Storm, Icy Spear/Ice Spike, and either a mace or waraxe.
