okay so like i boot up the game i make a fresh character, i then go somewhere and talk to an npc and yeah the game like heavily focuses on the person im talking to, and just blurs everything else around them. kind of like how tv shows do when an important character is talking. if that helps you imagine the issue.
Yeah i know what you are talking about that is just vanilla but I'm pretty sure you can get a mod to remove it.

Yeah i saw a few but theres a few more mods im adding for visual as theres some mods on there i dont like. was using it as a base to help get an idea for mid range visuals
Yeah thats what I did when I first got the game but honestly I have other tastes.
i prefer the fantasy vibrant setting which is what im trying to go for honestly not really sure on the best mods for that his seemed fairly vibrant tho.
There aren't enough of fantasy mods on special edition so when I'm going for that mood I just hop on the original Skyrim to get the nice fantasy and spring enb's.
So i downloaded the blur mod and started up a fresh character to see if that fixed the issue, it didn't. the blur is still there it didnt help one bit unfortunatly. the original skyrim didnt have this issue thats why i thought it was a mod.
This is all it says on the blur effect. i honestly dont think gamma is causing the blur effect. at least i wouldnt think so.
Firstly, Make sure your brightness is set to default (middle). Secondly your gamma by opening up SkyrimPrefs.ini located in Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition and changing the following under the [Display] section.
fGamma=1.0
This preset was created using TAA and will only look right if using it. Lumasharpen is used to negate any blur created. SMAA and FXAA don't cut it and will look jaggy.
Most ENBs have a minimal or adjustable DoF. The ones that are for screenshots and/or video tend to have a crazy DoF effect to be more "cinematic" or something like that. I would suggest removing the ENB completely, then check if it's still happening. Then find another ENB. There are so many of them on the Nexus I'm sure you can find one that makes it look how you want without the blur.
okay so heres whats up, and ill ask your help to help me find and enb if you dont mind. So basically when i had the enb installed i found a post someone else having same issue they said open tide prompt and then type "sisme 0" to hotfix this issue apparently alot of people were having this issue on skyrim. so i tried that and nothing. so i remove the enb as suggested open game up same issue, i then try the tideprompt and get blur to go away after. now i just want a good enb to add to the quality feel of my game with out the blur
