Bug. Buying house in Markart

Cannot buy a house in Markart. Buy option(8000 sep) was... but suddenly disappered.
As a result cannot become a Tan.

@LowSkill: I don't have much help to offer, I just wanted to make sure these guys didn't drive you off. That said, make sure you're talking to the steward within his working hours (when he's standing next to his Jarl), and that you haven't acquired a bounty in the hold in the meantime.

If those suggestions don't help, post more details and I'm sure someone will chime in with something useful.

PPS - there was option to buy this house for 8000 sep. But this option... disappeared

If you do Molag Bals Daedric quest you get a free but uncustomizable home. A bit unkempt as well but hey, free lodging.

Have you actually tried getting into the house? Maybe you already bought it.

Have you spoke to the Jarl and made sure all quests have been done.

After initially inquiring about the house for sale, if you do not have enough gold, the option is then erased and Raerek will spout canned dialogue.

This can be fixed using the console command setstage favor250 20, then talking to the jarl. He will make you a thane, and Raerek will then allow you to purchase the house.

not the same bug however I got it 2 times I couldn't start the quest for Igmund ... solution If during the peace talks silver-blood takes over do it again only the help my people stuff and buying the house is needed and that worked fine. after the imperials took over again all was fine.
