If you are manually doing it, I cant help, as i use MO2 Portable. But it looks like something youre doing is overwriting SkyUIs. I have a map mod on top of SkyUI, never seen a Code 5
Data/interface, i don't have an interface map.
neither do i have 60 fps mod
You cant download this?
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194
or even this? https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/1
I know some people prefer manual modding, but Mod Organizers take a lot of the conflict resolution away and make it easier to spot conflicts
MO2 gives me an error while downloading, i skipped the file. But its not able to connect to Nexus anyway, even when i use API key.
What i saw from the it it looked really good, its just not working for me :(
C:Modding/M02/libssl-1_1-x64.dll
An error ocured while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.
I asked about this and isa confirmed this being the likely reason for code 5 with MO2.
MO2 doesn't require typing API key for authentication. Just log in to Nexus with your default browser. You should be able to connect MO2 to your account and NXM handler with one click behind MO2 Nexus tab.
SkyUI error code 5 sounds indeed an issue, where some overwriting file is causing the problem, as Samurai and Simon mentioned above.
Check that you removed those files from your game.
I figured out that my AV is messing things up (Bullguard). I have looked up online how to except files. But its already removing them before i have even istalled the launcher for MO2.
I tried to use Vortex again with the help of a 2018, 28min tutorial. Did everything he did ...didn't work. Only difference is that he was using the old NMM.
Which im now gonna try again.
Im really a noob with mods. So some things i have no clue about i just follow guides on youtube.
Dont use old NMM. MO2 will work better.
But you need to whitelist and dont have the game and the mods installed in your protected folders.
Dunno how to whitelist something on that AV.
I got Skyrim SE installed on my C drive (main internal one)
i get this while installing MO2 due to AV blocking it:
C:Modding/M02/libssl-1_1-x64.dll
An error ocured while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.
Default download in MO2 is actually in Localfiles and that folder is protected.
Default install folder for mods is also there.
You may have need for changing that. Not hard to do at all.
In settings in MO2 there can you change all those settings.
One more thing. When you did install MO2 did you use the installer or did you download the standalone zip?
