Intro Glitch (Fixed)

So I installed some mods and wanted to start playing this game again but after istalling the mods the intro to the game glitches, you know the one where you arrive to some place in a horse vagon.

Anyway it glitches with me being in the ''drivers'' seat in the vagon behind the one I should be sitting in. I think ''eh whatever, easy to fix just uninstall the mods and I'll start playing'' well I unistalled everything, all enbs and mods, I've even repaired the game and reinstalled it but the glitch keeps happening. Any fix?

If you unlocked your frames that may break it but also you may want to consider getting something like Altenate start. That way it puts you in room where all the start up scripts can run without bogging down the enigine to thepoint of glitchness.

Your install may also have not been a clean install.

Yeah I know I got that as an option but I'd rather do the action packed start but I guess I'll have to use thus then.

Yes, I mean I said I have problems with the intro and it has to be a new game if I keep having trouble getting thru the intro.

You can still choose the Vanilla Start from the Alternate Start - Live Another Life (ASLAL) choice list.

But will it still work? I mean I have trouble with that start.

Show us your loot sorted mod list (loot has a copy-paste function in the vertical dot menu). Perhaps you have a mod that affects the starting area in a way that is preventing you from loading the area correctly.

Also, did you use nexus mod manager? You may need to use a clean install to fix an error that manager has caused.

If your using immersive armors then disable it untill you can loot things then quit and re enable it.

Well I could show you my old mod list if you want but the thing is of right now I've not only disabled my mods but unistalled all of them, icluding enbs, also yes I'm using nexus.

Then you will need to use that clean install guide. You can back up your save files if you want to try and fix the problem. Nmm has issues with removing mods that can cause the game to try looking for files that aren't there. A clean install will fix the issue for now, but the best way prevent the problem occuring in the future is to change over to a different manager. Vortex, nexus' upcoming manager, is a viable option but quite a few people (myself included) will recommend learning mod organizer 2.

Thanks a ton! it worked. Seems like something kept hidding in my skyrim folder and when I uninstalled skyrim and reinstalled skyrim it kept getting installed with the game.

I have ZERO mods installed, I unsubscribed from them all, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified the files, done everything I can think of, yet still, the intro scene has the horse and wagons in like a tornado, spinning around violently, and when I was using the new life mod, water textures anywhere was glitched, with the sound of water like spazzing out, and Ide be walking on the road and whenever I heard the sound freaking out my guy would start swimming in the air... what the heck is going on?
