Necromancer RP Guide
Necromancer Lich RP Guide
This is preconstructed rp guide I created for my Necromancer Lich playthrough i just finished. For those interested in playing Skyrim a different way, this might give you a fun build to test out.
Reccomended Mods:
Undeath Remastered (Entirely Neccesary for this build, dont go without it as it makes Necromancy so much more viable)
MAP - Necromancy; Conjuration Defiled (AMAZING NECROMANCY PERKS! Also Neccesary)
Phenderix Magical World
Alternate Start: Live Another Life
Cheat Room (Makes getting Starting Stats so much more efficient.)

Starting Stats:
Character Starting Level: 23 (Due to perks you get)
Health/Magicka/Stamina (You get 22 level ups to use between them as you like)
Conjuration: 100
Destruction: 25
Restoration: 70
Illusion 50

Starting Perks: (Cheat Room is good at accomplishing Starting Stats/Attributes)
Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, Master Conjuration
Skeletal Binding 3/3
Necromancy 2/2
Dark Souls
Triplet Souls (If using Phenderix Magical World, otherwise just the Twin Souls Perk)
Novice Restoration
Regeneration
Necromage
Novice, Apprentice Destruction (gotta have some attacks of your own)
Novice Illusion
Animage
Kindred Made
Quiet Casting

Starting Gear (I personally reccomend starting with just Necromancer Robes/Boots or what the "Live Another Life" Mod gives you) while you CAN change your gear if you want stronger robes i would reccomend a mod that gives you unenchanted necromancer robes and then enchanting them with better things. Armor and Weapons (Other than bound) are obviously not tools of a necromancer at most they might have a dagger.

Reccomended Races:
While you CAN use any race, Obviously choosing Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer, or Bretons would be the ideal choice since they all have specialties in Magic. i would NOT reccomend Khajit, Argonians, or Orcs however with things like Imperials and Nords being somewhere in between on the spectrum.

Backstory (I kept it pretty vague for your own interpretations)
Seeking unlimited power and the ability to cheat death you have been exiled from your native country for necromancy. Fleeing to skyrim you are captured and as your execution happens, a dragon attacks and you escape your captivity, free to do as you like you see Skyrim as a brand new oyster in your pursuit of unlimited power and Immortality.

Rule to Remember
This Character is Self-Centered and has a huge ego. They only do thing that they deem important to making their goals come to fruition, I.E. Selfless acts are something your character should never do, or acts in general that they would deem useless on their end. Your character cares not for Riches or People, they simply want POWER!

Also your name has been tainted through the land, you are known as a Necromancer and while the guard will still Allow you into cities (provided you behave yourself) you are NOT allowed to buy property in SKYRIM.

Factions:
Main Storyline: You may complete it as obtaining the power of the Dragonborn would definitely be useful to your character
Civil War: Your character would likely LOVE the idea of the civil war raging forever and would most likely not ever ingage in it simply due to the pileup of corpses for your dark rituals.
Companions: Some could argue that the Lycanthropy would be desired here but since your character has no way of knowing that the companions have this ability they wouldnt even bother joining the group
Dark Brotherhood: Optional, i toyed with the idea myself and personally didnt do it, but i could see a good argument for why this character WOULD join the Dark Brotherhood. So its up to you
Thieves' Guild: Your character doesnt care about MONEY! they would see the Thieves Guild as nothing more than a failing business and ignore it.
College of Winterhold: This was a tough one for me and AGAIN another one i personally didnt do. On one hand infiltrating the Palace to learn and potentially steal their secrets IS something that you would do, on the other hand your name IS tainted and they likely know who you are and wouldnt let a necromancer in, but perhaps you could go incognito? again ill leave it up to you
Dawnguard/Vampires: ABSOLUTELY! Your character would join the dawnguard if for no other reason than to learn where the Vampires are coming from and eventually betray the Dawnguard for Harkon, immortality through vampirism isnt nearly as good as Lichdom to you but its still great power in the meantime.
Dragonborn DLC: Eh? i mean there's no reason NOT to do it, I did it personally since i think my character wouldnt stand for anyone sending assassins out to kill them. (Sidenote: since Solstheim is pretty cut off from the world and its pretty established your a stranger as soon as you enter, the Solstheim House in Raven Rock is the one property you can own in the game)

I Hope you enjoyed my Necromancer Character Build i spent alot of time working on it and personally loved this playthrough myself
