How do i recharge my enchanted weapons?

Hello. I've played Skyrim for a few years now. ( i only got the Special Edition on X-Mas in 2017, before that i played the normal version ) I have multiple enchanted items and i want to recharge them, but i don't know how. I've searched about it but either the answers are for the Xbox or the Playstation, which i don't use. I've tried pressing T ( since i play on PC ) but it doesn't work, i don't know if it's cause i have a Swedish keyboard. I've tried multiple different buttons but nothing seems to be working. Like i said, i'm using a Swedish keyboard which adds 3 extra letters ( Å Ä Ö ) so which button do i press to recharge my enchanted items? I really would like an answer.

Just to be clear.

You open your inventory and hover your mouse over the weapon you want to recharge and you see something like this.

And it says to press T to Charge. But when you do so you do not see the following?

i tried that already but it didn*t work either. the '' T '' for Recharge never shows up whenever i hover my mouse over the enchanted weapon.

you need soul gems to recharge your enchanted wepons collect some then go in the menu highlight your wepon then press recharge

i have tons of filled soul gems in my inventory, i hover my mouse over the weapon i wanna recharge, but the option still doesn't appear.

He would still see the option T-Charge even if he lacked the soul gems. It would simple say "No soul gem to charge enchantment" when he presses T.

Ok then this is a different issue than a keybind one.

Are you doing it from your own inventory and not when accessing a storage container? I don't believe you can recharge items when you have a storage container open.

Snap a screen shot like I did, it might help me to help you quicker.

Open the inventory, equip that weapon,
you will see a "T" sign somewhere at the bottom left hand, click it and choose a kind of soul gem.
1. You need to have a """filled""' soul gem, (not empty ones) to charge your weapon
2. If the weapon is nearly fullly charged it seems that you need a less/pretty soul gem.

You do it with gems that have a soul in it my little buddy, full them up urself or buy a soul gem that is already full in potions and magics stores

Yeah, I don't what is causing that. As you can see from my pics I have the T-Charge option.

Do you use any mods? Maybe a UI mod?

Nope. no mods. Although i did use a glitch to make my enchantments and potions a bit....let's just say OP ( if you already couldn't tell by the stats of the weapons on my screenshots. ) but even when on a different character where i hadn't done that glitch i still don't get the option to recharge my weapons.

Do you have the "soul trap" skill?
Try it again after you have learned the soul trap skill also add 1 point to enchantment skill
perpare some filled less soul gem.
See if it work.

i mean your carry weight breaks the ui already, maybe get that down to a more moderate level and see if it stops the ui from being buggy?

I have characters that i haven't used any glitches on, and i tried to recharge their enchanted weapons, i had multiple Grand filled soul gems but i still couldn't recharge my weapons.

This is the risk you take when you use exploits and glitches.

We'd like to help you but I don't know enough about what you did to glitch your carry weight and so forth to know what unintended consequences it might have had.

You claim to have not installed any mods, so I can only assume that if the problem effects multiple characters then it is something you have done which effect the game as a whole like a mod would.

At this point, all I can suggest is that you back everything up. Delete your config files, verify your local game cache and allow the game to "reset" to vanilla.

Then create an un-glitched character and ensure that you can charge enchant weapons.

From this point you have several options. You can try one of your glitched saves or try glitching a new character to see if you can figure out what causes the issue.

Unfortunately I'm afraid there is no quick answer to your problem. You'll just have to get back to a point in time when things work and move forward systematically.

also: you say you dont use mods, do you mean you never used mods or did you uninstall some mods after you played with them for a while?
