Change player height?
Is there a simple way to change the pc height in an existing game? A spell or potion would be fun, but a console command would do.

Thank's

the only way i know of without mods, is the console command setscale, you open the console and click on your character (or any npc) and then you put the value you want

If you use the console your damage also change. So beware.

Sadly Setscale changes the ENTIRE av.. Width, Height Etc. Only way to get TRUE control over your characters total measurements is with a body replacer, Bodyslides and a compatible char menu extension like RaceMenu.

Totally worth it though if you don't want to be a cookie cutter supermodel like 90% of Tamriel.

Facechanger in Riften (in thieves guild Cistern, open to everyone btw) might change your height, not actually used him/her.

I think a spell would be great. Shrink yourself and get a sneak bonus enlarge yourself and get an intimidation bonus

Exactly. It's a slider under 'BodyScales'.

I was forced to install RaceMenu for a couple mods but I have no idea how to actually use it in game. Never cared what my PC looked like in any first-person game.

Very simple. Open the console, and type 'showracemenu' all one word. Hit the key again to exit the console. Scroll across the tabs to the far right and you will see 'BodyScales'. Scroll down until you see the slider to change height.

If one wants to avoid using console commands, then one can just spend 1000 septims at the face sculptor in Riften to make adjustments to one's character there.
Even if one never uses the third person mode, changing height this way also changes the height of the camera in first person mode as I've seen when playing a female Khajiit scaled up to 1.03 scale (to be able to look most Nords in the face and to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Inigo).

I must have racemenu messed up, I tried it on my existing CBBE character and nothing happened when I changed any of the sliders. setscale does work but it didn't seem to effect the first person camera.

Nothing's 'messed up'. You simply needed to have built your character's body & outfits in BodySlide, with the "build morphs" box checked. Otherwise you can't adjust certain slider categories in-game.

Is there a good BodySlide tutorial for how to use it with ModOrganizer 2? When I try to run it all I get is UAC popups.

You can just create a BodySlide Executable from within the 'SkyrimSE/Data/CalienteTools/Bodyslide' folder and use the 'BodySlide64.exe' to launch BodySlide from your desktop. It's much easier.
