Have to login to Bethesda.net account every time I open mods section?!?!
I have my Bethesda account linked to my Steam account... But after I exit the game, if I want to go into the "Mods" section I am always asked to login again. I played Skyrim SE for 250ish hours without having this issue, but now that I've recently started playing again I find myself being asked to login on every game session if I want to access the Mods section. What gives?

use nexusmods.com and avoid this issue entirely you'll need an account though which is free to do and have millions of mods for 90% of games you didnt think could be modded to choose from
and yes skyrim LE and Skyrim SE AND Fallout 4 are just 3 of them if you want to go primium (highly recommended its like 4 bucks american a month and costs are non recurring for some of the higher priced ones

I've already got an account at Nexus Mods and have one of the ad-free accounts (out of a show of support; I don't use it enough to warrant a monthly subscription). But I like the simplicity of the in-game mods Mods section. I just hate having to login every time I want to use it, which is why I started this thread to ask why I'm suddenly having to re-login every time. You didn't even attempt to answer the question.

sir (or madam) you are the only person i have seen to date that doesnt want to use nexusmods.com the ONLY reason i offered the site recommendation is because its actually easier and a LOT less problematic then using bethesda.net

I DO use nexusmods.com for installing mods like Legacy of the Dragonborn since I couldn't find it via the in-game Mods section. But I install everything manually (I don't like NMM) and use the in-game Mods section for all the basic mods that I like. But this question and this thread isn't about NM so please stop making it about NM. I have a specific question about why I'm having to login every time I access the in-game Mods section.

I'm curious why this isn't being asked on Bethesda's help forums being a Bethesda issue, Then? Not like Valve's going to step in and do anything about it.

Goodness gracious I'm just asking to see if anyone else has had this issue and if so, what they did to fix it.

So when I fire up my xbox I have to use your preferred method for mods which is Bethesda (and have been doing so for years). It's buggy and what you are experiencing is only a small example of the problems I've encountered with their set-up. So in answer to your question, yes I've experienced it, and as for 'how did I fix it' after many attempts on my part to fix various problems, I switched to Nexus and I am many times happier with Nexus here on PC. As you yourself have eluded to, it (Bethesda) is not so simple anymore. I happen to like Bethesda open world aspect of their games (not the clunkyness) but the less I have to deal with them after I purchase a title of theirs, the better.

Fair enough answer. I may fire a support ticket over to them to bee-eye-itch to them about it. Sorry everyone if I came across as a jerk - I understand you were all just trying to help. I like NM (but don't like NMM), but also like the simplicity of the in-game Mods section (especially when I've already got my mods favorited so they're easily accessible since the search feature sucks). Cheers! :steamhappy:

Try Vortex it replaced NMM and is very user friendly.
