번역 관련 문제 보고
So, I proceeded to go through my mod order, enabling them a few at a time, until I found the culprit.
I've no idea why, but Kaiden 2 is causing the weird seam issues. As soon as I enabled that Companion mod, the strange texture issue appeared, but as soon as I disabled it, the problem went away.
I enabled every other mod in my mod order excluding that one, and again, no weird seams.
I don't understand how Kaiden 2 is causing the problem, though. It's a Companion mod who has his own quests. Why would it be messing with my female body textures?
And now my question is, is there a way to stop the weird seam issues and keep Kaiden 2 in the load order? If I have him farther down in the priority list, will that make any difference?
There'd be a few way to fix it depending on whether it's a texture or a mesh. Seems like it's the former at this point.
I'd start with the posts and bugs section of that mod's page on the nexus. It's a popular mod i imagine you'll get some info there, maybe it's desciption page even.
Next i'd goto google with 'kaiden texture bug fix' and see what comes up and if you've still got nothing and still want to keep him, try my skin texture mod suggestion and put it after kaiden in your load order.
Thanks for the suggestion, Jonny! I'll hunt about your recommendations :)
Oh, well.
I guess Kaiden 2 will have to go, which kind of sucks, because I was interested in that one.
Guess I'm starting a new game.
You could use Cathedral Assets Optimizer[www.nexusmods.com] to unpack the BSA, delete the textures (everything in the textures\actors\character\female folder) and then use Cathedral Assets Optimizer again to repack the BSA. I can help walk you through this process if you'd like.
You could also just find a skin mod you like and install it. That will eliminate this problem by overriding those textures. Either of these options can be done mid playthrough.
I figured out how to go about unpacking the BSA myself!
And deleting those textures absolutely fixed my issue. Thank you so, so much for the help! The seams are gone now and I can keep the follower mod. You are the best :D
