PS4 controller mapping issue.
Ive done some research and got my ps4 controller working with the game. It ran fine for the first time playing with it and then coming back next day everything is wrong.

Ive enabled the ps4 controller through the "Big Picture" mode on steam and it works in game now. However I am unable to bind certain key abilities. For example I cannot bind "shout" or "sneak"

Has anyone else encountered this before and found a solution?

I get a kick out of seeing people trying to get Sony and Nintendo hardware to work on Windows out if the box.

There, there. Every user is ... erm ... tech savvy and how dare we expect own research and basic understanding of hardware.

Oh, I can forgive them for not knowing that it doesn't work like a plug-n-play controller. I just find it funny.

ds4windows from ds4windows.com .... I have sneak and shout in my controls menu and I can map to any other button.

I think I got it. I was able to switch back to mouse and then back to controller again while the mouse controlls were all showing. Then bind the bumpers to shout/sneak. They appear there now. Ill stick with ds4 as well. Hopefully it all stays

You can also make profiles in ds4windows and map anything in there, as well as setting it to load a certain profile for a certain game.exe.

Look at the timestamp of the original post. Now, look at your own reflection in a mirror.

What do you see? A fool. A necroposter. A waste of steam's server capacity.
