Best Way to Get Salt?
Without going to a political video on youtube, I need lots of salt for all this meat I got. Is there, like, a salt mine or something? I've been buying it off people, but they don't have enough.
EDIT: While we're at it, where do I get a ton of food? I like cooking.

Sorry, but there is no salt mine in this game. Wait until the repawn or install the add-on mod (extension) to "I need". There you can choose...-;)

Try any tavern in the game, they usually have various food and a lot of times some salt. It can also be found in alchemy shops as it is an alchemy ingredient.

Yes, but I need lots of salt. If a tavern has about 3 salt, an apothecary has about 4-5, and the store has about 3 as well, thats about 12 salt for every major city (I've looted all the barrels, so no more salt ): ), or about 6 for small towns. I need lots of salt. I'm needing about 500 salt.

Yeah, I'll just drop double what the salt is worth in exchange for convienience.

After running through lots of dungeons, you should have a lot of salt if you loot all the bags and barrels there too. However, my definition of a lot of salt is something more akin to 50 salt.

I have no idea why you'd need 500 salt. I doubt I've used more than 100 salt in a game where I am up at level 49, and have iNeed active so that I require food.

Its fine, I just need salt, no matter the reason.

If you use the mod Campfire you can cook meat on the campfire without needing salt.
