Having Trouble Purifying The Companions
So I've done the quests in the past to purify Farkas and Vilkas but for some reason, this play through, their quests just aren't popping up for me. What I've done differently is that this time, for the first time, I got the Totems of Hircine with Aela. Does obtaining the totems cause the brothers to change their mind about giving up lycanthropy? Or am I just having really bad luck getting these quests to pop up?

Yeah you right you need to be done with Totems (Aela), its also that part of the quest line to end it all.

OK so since I did the totems before I purified them, I can't now?

If I remember right I have completed the Totem quest before the Purify quest before with no problem. Sometimes you just have to keep plugging away at Companion characters before you get the dialogue for certain Radiant quests.

In order to start the Purity quest with Vilkas or Farkas, you must have at least one Glenmoril Witch Head in your inventory, and you must have completed 1 quest from Farkas or Vilkas with 1 witch head in your inventory. Seems to be all about the witch head that could be stopping the quest from firing for you. Here's the Elder Scrolls wiki page for the quest -

The Totems quest should be done before Purity anyway, cos if you cure yourself of being a werewolf then Aela doesn't offer the Totems quest anymore. Thats what it says in the wiki anyway, but she does let you become a werewolf again if you desire so you could still complete Totems after Purity.

Yeah I have the heads I have just never seen it take them so long to offer the quests to purify them. I've done at least a dozen quests for either of the brothers and still nothing.
