Possible to play 2560x1440 in full screen?
^ Does anyone know how to play this game in full screen at 2560x1440 as I'm not getting the option in the settings?

Don't know why its not working on yours but mine appeared when picking the resolution setting. Have a look in your SkyrimPrefs.ini and change the values to these below. see if that works.

bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1440
iSize W=2560

You don't need both
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=1
as one is trying to make it full screen while the other as borderless fullscreen. Set one of them (Really is just preference) to 0

A fellow (Max) in the pinned topics had a solution that worked for me, had to do with the settings in the interface folder. Makes your health and stamina visible among other menus.

This is what ended up working out for me. I have two monitors one is 1440p and the other is 1080p. When both monitors are plugged in and I start up the game the launcher does not display the native resolution for my 1440p monitor even though it is setup as the main display in display settings. When I setup the display settings to only show on my 1440p monitor (no longer extending the display to my 1080p monitor) and started the game again I was able to see the 1440p option in the launcher. Seems that the launcher does not like it when you have multiple monitors setup with different native resolutions.

Been looking for answers to this for a bit now. editing the skyrimprefs.ini file is the correct way HOWEVER in my case there were two different ones. One in Documents folder and one in the main skyrim directory. The one in Documents is the correct one to edit. Posting this for anyone in the future that may have this issue. No mods or fancy programs necessary.

^This plus I just made sure my Nvidia and my PC's Display settings (obviously the game itself) were also set to 2560X1440

I have a 3440x1440 screen and if I change the settings (like you all explained) I am missing the inventory bottom (where you can find your life, stats and gold)

There is a difference between trying to run at 1440p (usually 2560x1440) vs Ultra Wide (3440x1440). The main difference is in the fact that 1440p is still a 16:9 ratio whereas UW is 21:9. 1440p can generally just be achieved just with an ini setting. For 21:9 you usually need a mod like TrueBy9 since SSE does not support anything greater than 16:9.

I have the same problem again, I can't see my gold and my carryweight because it seems to be cropped off, but everything else is normal, just the inventory isn't

Old post, but thought I'd try anyway. I made the edits below, but am still limited to a 1080p window in the upper left of my 1440p screen after a restart. What else am I missing here?

bBorderless=0
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1440
iSize W=2560

If your using Mod Manager it uses its own .ini. In the top left click Tools>Tool Plugins>INI Editor and change both skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini
