That is a bummer. I mean I'm not ready to be a vamp but I may down the line. I suck at using magic I was never good at it so becoming a vamp probably will just be worse.
You can be a Vampire warrior (or thief, or whatever). You don't have to use magic to be a Vampire.
Why are you worried about curing yourself? Even if you never transform, you get the 100% disease resist which is nice. You only lose the (Well) Rested bonus from sleeping, and have to deal with wet dog comments from guards. Meh. You can also get the achievement for maxing out the Werewolf tree, if it appeals to you.
ask any inkeeper and they will point you to where to cure vampirism
Pretty sure you could just player.additem yourself a head, yeah.
This is a valid point, I guess I'd like to be a pure blooded Nord. A true son of skyrim as they say. Although when I first became a werewolf on several of my playthroughs I was all about beast mode but as I progressed on I didnt need it as much and stopped using it. Even on Legendary difficulty you seem to get OP around level 40-50. Plus you just have mountains of gold and nothing to spend it on. Personally, legendary should be like survival mode in fallout.
