How to change load order ingame?
Trying to change the load order and I can move the mod to the placed that I want it in, but hitting "x" or just clicking the confirmation option that goes with it causes the mod to return to its previous position.

You dont?
You need to install NExus Mod Manager, or LOOT or a mod manager program such as this. You will then be able to begin sorting your mods. There is sufficient information on how to do this online.

I'm sure he understands load orders, he just believed you could do it in game.

Well when there is a button that says "Reorder" in the Load Order menu, can you blame me? I'll look into using Nexus for this, but I find it odd that the ingame option doesn't work.

Actually, I can change mods installed via Bethesda but not manually installed mods, maybe that's why. Thank you for the input.
Then in that case, he should stick to playing on his toy console computer and leave the big boys to handle the PCs.

That's rather rude, I had perfectly reasonable cause to believe that if I could change the load order ingame, which is true when referring to mods from Bethesda.net.

HOW can you even think you would be able to change LOAD order in-game??? LOL Damn that was the best laugh i've had all day man! THANKS :steammocking:
Yes it was I apologise, but seriously though, it's like asking:

"How can I break rules?"

define in-game, while up and running = I don't think so. However, if you save, exit and use NMM and the green arrows it is not a big problem, then relaunch in upper left Icon and move on.

Sory, didn't read the full thread but unless mentioned LOOT (Load Order Optimization Tool) is what you should use to sort any more than what you may knowningly hand-sort.

There are a number of other essential tools that also make modding easier and the game more stable.

There is a load order menu for Bethesda's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod hosting.
Right, maybe you're new to modding. Modding is not really a plug-in and play kinda thing. Gamers from consoles seem to be flooding in to PC gaming and not wanting to have to do the leg work necessary that PC's require.

I suggest you bother to spend time googling how to manage load order and stop looking for an easy way out. It's intentions like what you have that has made gaming so fricken dumbed down. Thanks a lot!
