Destroying The Dawnguard; Immortal Isran.

As a Vampire Lord who is trying to complete the quest "Destroying The Dawnguard", I have come across what seems like an unfixable glitch where Isran isn't set to be mortal or non-essential. Naturally I entered the setessential command with his base ID 0200336a and put 0 for non essential in the console command tab. Sadly, this doesn't work and have tried it a number of times now. Like any essential character, when his health has been depleted, he'll get on his knee for a moment, then stand back up with full health ready to rumble again. If anyone is able to provide a solution to this problem, I'd be most grateful as I've spent the last 3 hours searching for commands, forum threads where I might find an answer, and asking friends if they've ever had the issue before. I've gone through this quest a number of times and this is the first time I've ever experienced this bug.

use LOOT its quicker and easier then typing them outright

start up LOOT and sort Load first by clicking the 3 horizontal lines. after it sorts hit apple then click the 3 Vertical dots. after clicking those click copy to clipboard. when next posting here right click paste and done.

hmmmm nothing standing out that i can see but yea what smr said it is a known bug but i am not the wisest here smr see anything that might also break that quest? besides the bug that is?

I don't use any vampire mods, so I cannot say which may or may not add things which might potentially cause problems. Of course, knowing how some modmakers are, it does not necessarily have to be limited to just vampire mods being the cause of issues.

Actually, you can load up your load order in xEdit, and look at Isram's record to see if there are any mods which are changing it.
