Fellglow Keep "glued-down" stolen book

I've done this quest (part of the College of Magic story) many times in vanilla Skyrim un-special edition with never much trouble. I've killed the Caller and all the evil mages in the Keep, and found all three of the stolen books. Trouble is, the last book (the one on the pedestal in the alcove) can't be picked up. It's as if it were a welded-on part of the pedestal itself. I've checked the other pedestals in the room, and none have books on them, so I know this is the right one. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I obviously can't complete the quest without the last book!

Ooh, do I feel stupid! The book was lying on the floor beside the pedestal, and I was trying to pick up the top of the pedestal. (Whatever emoji indicates sheepish grin and chagrin.) Thank you for taking the time to help, anyway.

I was gonna say, there should be an arrow pointing at it. If you've turned those off, you might want to turn them on in those situations.
