best body mods

2 questions basically: 1- armor compatibility wise which is the best one for females? 3 years ago before leaving the game i am pretty sure it was CBBE, but now that we have a lot more choices for UNP too and basically a whole new and separate game. which one of the 2 has more compatibility with armors (vanilla and mods)?
2- same question but for males, and no i am not looking for a certain mod in a dark place which have certain features in the male replacers that we do not need in the game, unless they have a version which only improves the textures/meshes without adding "features" and a certain vendor

For female body meshes, CBBE wins for me and the reason is very simple: Bodyslide. With Bodyslide I can create a personalized body shape, and the conversion sliders (which have come a long way!) allow converting outfits from any of the popular shapes to my custom body or to one of the CBBE presets. Whether it's CBBE or UNP, anything can easily become bodyslided unless there are errors in the mesh. Basically, you can use almost everything. Even more so if you learn to use Outfit Studio well.

For males, I've used Better Males (your choice of visible private parts or a couple of underwear options) with Skysight Skins textures, HD hair textures, Beards and True Brows. There's also WICO, which looks great but is a pretty extensive overhaul. Honestly, even the vanilla mesh is fine for males IMO. The hair, beard and texture replacements make a huge difference.

oh! wait a sec doesn't bodyslide support UNP too?

For males, SOS (or SAM, if you system has the extra resorces to handle it all).
For females, Universal UNP because of its Bodyslide support with less distortion than CBBE at higher scales.
