Louis Letrush Bugged at the end of "Promises to Keep"
I stole Frost along with the papers and ran to the riften stables not noticing the marker where he actually was and then rode there on frost, upon getting there I was attacked by wolves which I killed but Louis was aggresive, I thought maybe Lydia could have shot him with an arrow during the wolf attack so I reloaded to just before arriving to the wolves and even sneaking past them but both times he was aggresive. I fast traveled to Riften and waited a bit (I am a vampire lord), I got the vampire seduction ability from not feeding for a bit and thought I could maybe use that. When I return there are Imperial Soldiers now that attacked me (I did not have a bounty or anything) and Louis resisted vampire seduction due to him being to high level. I thought he might be aggroeing on me because I was a vampire? Anyways in a nutshell Louis is aggroing on me when I try to complete the quest and idk what to do

"Sometimes Louis is hostile when you are going to give him the horse and will attack you on sight. This might occur after stealing items in the house. To work around this bug, just wait for a day in the city and try again."

Next time you have a problem with a quest or bug, first check for an answer at http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Skyrim . It is a fantastic resource, and just about the first place where most of us check when we encounter a question regarding in-game bugs.

Thank you, I did notice that, but briefly skimmed through it and didn't wait a full day
