Vortex Mod Manager Issues

Hey guys, so ive just reinstalled SSE and i use Vortex. I went to go check on my mods when i got these errors:

-"Skyrim - Interface.bsa" appears to be missing

-Failed to read fontconfig.txt

I also ran into this issue when i tried to boot up FNIS from Vortex:

-Failed to run tool
It said that the executable was missing, but i had no problem running it outside of Vortex.

If it helps, heres the datapath for evrything that might be relevant:
SSE: C:>Games>Steam>Steam>steamapps>common>SkyrimSpecialEdition
Mod Staging Folder: C:>username>AppData>Roaming>Vortex>skyrimse>mods
Download Folder: C:>VortexGames>Vortex>Vortex Download

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

O.o, did you verify the cache? I don't know much about Vortex, not my preferred organizer, but it's looking for some basic stuff that comes packaged with the game.

I dont know how to verify the cache if i can.. if your talking about verifying the game files on steam, then yes ive done that

i think your game install needs to be at the same partition as the vortex mod folder

This^^^ Yes, it does need to be installed on the same drive as your game.

They all are already on the C: Drive

In your vortex Settings . under the Mods tab Would take it out of your APPDATA folder myself I made it C:\vortex Mods\{game}
which will make a folder with the game name automatic.

FNIS in the tool on the dashboard. click the three dots and pick edit. then on the folder for target and find the Generate for user file.
also point the Start in Directory to that same folder.

Exactly what Gerdruids said.

when you set FNIS use the Vortex Dashboard (as Gerdruids said). The icon should already be there with the 3 vertical dots and if not just use the big (+) plus sign.

So when i did that, apparently there is no generate for user file. How do i fix that?
