NPC hair retexture

What is the best npc hair replacer? I have seen tons of hair mods, but all of them are for player hair only. My game looks amazing all but npc hair

For a simple retexture of vanilla hairstyles, I actually prefer Bed Head over Superior Lore-Friendly Hair these days (though both are v good, I just find BH looks a bit more natural) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8528/?

If you want Apachii/KS styles on NPCs the simplest option is something like Shiva's Vanilla Hair Replacer http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7922/?

That one basically switches out (most of) the vanilla styles for some from KS Hairdos, with... variable results (some NPCs look pretty good, a few of the styles look... out of place, to say the least). It doesn't change their faces or anything, I believe, just switches out the styles and tweaks the NPCs so the hairs 'fit', I think.

If you want NPCs to look different as well as the hairstyles, you'll probably need to look for an overhaul mod such as Diversity http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5291/?
