Inigo is a charming, sometimes hilarious, occasionally quite touching blue Khajiit who is a damned powerhouse in battle (particularly if you let him keep his default ebony bow, arrows and sword) and great company. He doesn't have quite as many features as Vilja, and his current quest is quite short (there is a plan for a much longer quest but it's taking time to create) but he will talk to you about loads of stuff, can give you progress reports, will read you his book if asked, you can give him any (vanilla, I think) horse that you own and he'll rename it and chat to it.
Plus, if you introduce them to each other (through Vilja's dialogue) they have a bunch of interactions with each other. They'll also have quite fun interactions with some of the vanilla followers, particularly Lydia, Kharjo (more Inigo) Marcurio (more Vilja) and a few more.
If you want something a bit smuttier, there's always Sofia the 'Funny Fully-Voiced Follower'. Personally I don't think she's funny enough to warrant that name (Inigo and Vilja both make me laugh a lot more often) but she's entertaining enough, quite cute if you like that sort of thing, and makes lots of slightly childish jokes about farts and sex, which, tbh, I am okay with. She also has a tendency to lose her clothes, which may be a plus or a minus.
Rigmor of Bruma is both awesome and sucktacular IMO - I really enjoyed playing through the mod - the story was pretty good, the fights were fun, and I liked Rigmor, but there were quite a few bugs, I had to use the console several times, and the mod is very much best enjoyed as a standalone playthrough where you use a minimal load order and mainly just follow through the mod's questline - I got about 30 hours out of it (using needs mods, frostfall, minimal fast travel, and not much in the way of other mods) and some parts of it were AWESOME (trying not to spoiler here but there's a battle segment quite a long way through the story which is IMO how vanilla Civil War battles should have felt). There is an option now to have Rigmor as a standalone follower (no quests) but I was a little disappointed as she really doesn't have much to say about the base game's quests or locations, plus she was stupidly OP (her custom sword has phenomenal damage if you start the game with her) so I ended up just kinda watching her kill stuff.
Aside from those, I haven't played with Aurlyn Dawnstone or M'rissi, but they seem popular.
Heres a vid of Interesting NPCs that shows you some of the characters and voices.

...Besides the BEST vanilla one (Serana, the vampire Princess, "Dawnguard" DLC), there is ...Sofia... Yuriana... Ambriel the she-Elf Princess... Inigo... Recorder...
...I mean... there are a lot!
If you want vanilla then Teldryn Sero or Serana, daughter of coldharbour is your best bet
True, but I just don't like having a... cat as companion!
Also, I love my ladies as companions (Serana, Yuriana, Ambriel, Sofia, Recorder). I'm a single man, surrounded by four lovely ladies with swords and sexy armors.
And what is wrong with having a talking cat as a companion might I ask? You got something against a talking cat? LOL
