Serana Eye Fix AFT

Has anyone figured out how to fix the issue with Serana's eyes with AFT and this mod? (The issue where the eyes revert back to her vampire eyes after curing her.)

or is there anyway you can exclude serana from AFT somehow?

Serana with Humanoid eyes works fine with AFT. I've been using the two together for a long time

I can have AFT stop managing her in the settings. However I believe this mods still affects her eyes even without managing her cause while she was a vampire she had the male vampire eyes instead of the female.

well depends how you ported her.....did you make the changes for SSE? if so then she's now SSE so if she is now sse then either you make changes to the oldrim eye fix or get a sse eye fix

Actually I take that back OP, I stopped letting AFT manager any special or stand alone type follower long ago and I put serana in that category (special). I didn't do it because I was having problems but more so, well, just because I thought I'd try to do it properly.

that being said, according to all notes on nexus we should not put her under a follower control mod, she really does not need it but something tells me you feel a special need to do it.

Edit: but when I did let AFT manage her AFT did not mess with her blue eyes.
I would suggest you try going back to a save where she was not under the control of a follower mod if that's possible.

Never mind I was wrong. I stopped managing her with AFT, saved my game, quit the game then started it and loaded that save and her eyes were fine.

IIRC she levels with you till lvl 50 or maybe 81
but with USSEP she levels with no cap

I have this but she seems to be stuck at 50. My character is currently lvl 60.

it also has a blue eye option. which i enable when i dont want her to be a vampire anymore.

as for follower manager i use this one here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18076 which doesnt seem to make any problems

So I just looked at this follower mod and it seems to have the features I want. However would I be able to install this alongside AFT as I don't want to uninstall that.

probably. i never had AFT in SSE. i only used it in LE. in SSE i instantly grabbed follower framework cause people on skyrimmods reddit praised it for being the best currently. AFT latest update 2017 vs follower framework May 2020.

but yeah i GUESS you would have to uninstall AFT. just make a save and uninstall aft, test follower framework and if you dont like it you can always revert back to the save.

I'll backup my saves and uninstall AFT by resetting it as it can be tricky uninstalling it.

You have to edit her and the general eye file in the skyrim (wherever eyes are located) doc. I had this problem too. but before you do that try this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18369

I decided to not manage Serana with AFT or NFF at all as I couldn't safely uninstall AFT. I used console commands to level her up and installed a separate mod to teach her spells.

Yeah that's how I play her. She's fine without being under the control of a mod. She can get lost now and then but I use the "Summon Serana" Mod for that.
other than that and her necromancy (they have no necromancy mod for that tho) she's good to go. ok maybe a little whiney. I use her alot lately tho.

Dude same here, I've never been a huge fan of follower mods, but have with my comeback to skyrim taking an interest in them. I have the new pandorable's Serana along with AFT and it works fine UNTIL you enter Seranas's aft settings. Thats when her eyes change. Did you find a good solution?
