Perk tree tier list for the optimal build
https://tiermaker.com/create/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-skills-43483

If you have questions, feel free to ask for my reasoning. I'm just going to point out a couple of the bigger ones to avoid a huge wall of text. If you're confused about something I'm happy to reply.

Why is Heavy Armor so low? Because it's obsolete. You will hit armor cap with Light Armor anyway with a little smithing. Light Armor also has much much better perks meanwhile most Heavy Armor perks are completely useless or don't even function. Light Armor also weight less and Heavy Armor has bigger penalties to your running speed and it creates more noise so sneaking around is harder. Heavy Armor has one redeeming quality, which is the last perk which gives you a 10% chance to reflect enemy melee damage back at them, but unless you're fighting another optimized character build, it's useless. (And since Skyrim is singleplayer, you will never meet an optimized build unless you use Skyrim together mod, but I'm going to leave that out of consideration)

Why is Two Handed so low? One Handed is infinitely better. It's far more versatile and has much higher DPS thanks to faster swing speed and the ability to dual wield.

Why is Destruction so high? Destruction late game is terrible! The only reason Destruction is so high is because of the Augmented element perks that make your Fire, Shock and Frost attacks more powerful. This has a hidden effect which also increases Fire, Shock and Frost enchantments which alone makes Destruction necessary for optimization.

Anything in D Tier is completely obsolete if you're going for optimization. Lockpicking also doesn't matter since you're going to gave 1000 lockpicks anyway and even the Skeleton Key for a limited amount of time.

All perks in all perk trees. Thats my list.

Destruction is the most OP thing in this game.

Destruction is pretty awful in its self, it's only good for boosting enchanting or if you're playing without alchemy, enchanting and smithing it's pretty good if you stack Ignite.

This is a 9 year old game, none of this is new and exciting.

You clearly never used impact.

Yeah. Sure would love to see how powerful that destruction of yours is on Legendary when I have 3000 damage weapons. I one shot Karstaag lol.

OP if this is your first time playing the game while I understand you have questions but like others have said this game has been out for almost a decade so google is indeed your friend. Not only that but the modding community has addressed many of these elements of the game. You'll notice I didn't say issues because IMO a number of your concerns don't make sense. For example of course it should be harder/noisier to sneak in Heavy armor. Also IMO Destruction magic is underpowered in this game but if you feel it's op then there are mods for that as well.

Sometimes a little research goes a long way.

what the ♥♥♥♥, this isn't my first time playing Skyrim I'm literally better at this game than all of you lol

and I never said I thought Destruction was OP. It's only good for enchanting with the augmented perks. Otherwise it's completely useless hot garbage. Imagine in a hypothetical PVP situation all your magic damage is either resisted or absorbed and if you somehow get a little DPS through, they'll have like 700 hitpoints anyway so ♥♥♥♥ your 6 DPS when Warriors and Nightblades have their DPS up in thousands.

Heavy Armor is just completely obsolete like many of the other skills in this game meaning me question why so many idiots say on YouTube that Daedric is the best armor in the game when it's far from it.

Conjuration is completely useless unless you're too bored to instakill the enemies yourself and just want to see how many enemies your two Dremora can solo in a dungeon. Even the best conjuration spells suck ass. Only Karstaag summon is useful and it's limited to 3 uses. Sure you could maybe Death Thrall the Ebony Warrior if you were a vampire (never bothered myself since I hate the inconvenience of having blood ready to go at all times in case your vampirism rises in level)

Illusion, pickpocketing, speech, lockpicking and 2-handed are also all useless skills.

Archery in PVP scenarios would be completely mitigated by a shield user and regardless pretty useless because of shouts like disarm, unrelenting force, slow time and the one that makes you warp a fair distance forward, forgot what its called. There could be other shouts too, but I never actually bothered with them myself, I never use shouts really, only used marked to death against Ebony Warrior once but that's pretty much it.

Blocking is only useful as a counter-pick skill against archers and gives a small ground control capability, but it's negligible.

Also races. Imperials, Argonians, Bosmer, Dunmer and High Elves, Redguards, Khajiits, Nords, did I miss anyone? Are completely useless races since their racial traits suck. Super underpowered.

Bretons and Orcs are the only viable options. Orcs are only good if you dual wield to maximize damage output, otherwise Breton is always a safer pick. Breton best race hands down no questions asked.

I don't need to research anything. I know everything that matters in Skyrim when it comes to character builds.

yes we're all very impressed that you can exploit vanilla enchanting and smithing like everyone else already did 10 years ago

Seems like even after 10 years most people are still stupid and think Heavy Armor and 2 Handed are strong. Even without smithing they suck compared to Light Armor and 1 Handed.

I think you picked the wrong game to flex on builds and numbers nowadays. Many of us have long time forgotten what the vanilla tree even has to offer. I feel like something like PoE or Diablo 3 would suit your passion and attitude better. At least you'll find opponents to talk about maximizing and optimizing the hell out of your BiS gear and skill tree. You might even end up being trash at a game, which would be awesome to see.

Sure it takes a bit longer but you will never take any damage. I never put any points in to health when i play a mage because i dont need it.

Also there is no "optimal build" in this game. Any build work just as well as any other. If you want to go Heavy armor and 2hander you will do just as well as someone going Sneak Archery or Light armor 1handed.

"No optimal build" that's the biggest bs I've ever heard in my entire life. Yes there is you dimwit.
