I put a ring into the sorting chest on the ship and I am trying to find where it is stored on the ship but i can't find the storage for jewelry. Does anyone know where it is located or will I have to return to the museum?

I know this post is a year old, but I just ran into the same problem and I was wondering if you ever figured this out?

I haven't played Skyrim in a while but I remember it was corrected in an update a while ago for me.
