Steam Overlay Glitch
For some reason (in skyrim only) whenever i open steam overlay it wont close. i can still do things in the game, but only with the menu's. is there a solution to fix this?

sure it does. now there are certain mods in certain games that will make this a different story but those are rare.

some games have mods that won't really allow say for example alt+tab. So what I meant about it being a different story, (not different story-line as you may have taken it) is that it all depends on the game and mod.

regarding this game I said "sure it does". I said that because it was not clear if you were saying you thought the problem was exclusive to you or if you were under the impression that it was that way for everyone. So yes, it works for me ie, sure it does.

so let me ask you,; When you are in the steam overlay do you look up near the top and see the link to return to game or close overlay (I forget exactly how it's worded).

also, I wrote that after being awake for 30 consecutive hours. I've seen worse but yeah, now that I look at it I understand your response :steamhappy:

i usually just hit esc to close it, but now when i open it im not actually in the overlay; im in the game. my mouse is still clickign things ingame while the overlay is just blocking my vision (even though actual gameplay freezes i can still use menus)
