TW3 has a really great story and some great characters. Skyrim is more about the imagination of the player.
Other than that, Skyrim feels more epic and offers a ton of options gameplay wise. TW3 feels more realsitic and offers meaningful choice.
I'm glad that I have the opportunity to play both games.
The exploration
The exploration on witcher 3 felt very weak in comparison, that what bethesda always did well, and for me it's the most important thing from elder scrolls (and fallout since they took the franchise) and what make players playing these game, the exploration, also the modding of course.
Things is, exploration is V E R Y important in an open world game.
also skyrim is more sandboxy then witcher which is more story driven game, you can do what you really want or be who you really want and that's make those game pretty different in the end
If only Witcher could have had the same exploraton level with dungeon and stuff, oh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god that would have been the best game ever.
Still, I really like Witcher 3 more.
but let's not forget that skyrim is now 6 years old and still holds up pretty well (like oblivion and morrowind, minus the combat for morrowind) Witcher 1 is terribly outdated in the mechanics and came years after morrowind, but well it wasn't the same budget
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhahahahah no. Also gr8 b8. This is how the world ends with these kind of threads
why do I have a feeling of "female radicalism" with your quote xD
I definately agree that Lucien from the Dark Brotherhood and the Grey Fox. I think their characters were more interesting than Delphine and Astrid. I think one of the other things I loved about Oblivion was how... magical... the world looked and felt, for lack of a better term. The almost cartoon art style really appealed to me. Not to mention it made the horror of the Oblivion Realm so much more striking.
Then There's the Shivering Isles expansion... amazing content, probably one of the best expansions I've ever played.
