Lydia Dissapeared

I was traveling through around skyrim going in various caves when I noticed that Lydia was gone. Ive gone all over the place looking for her and shes no where to be found. Any help would be appreciated.

i made her the house carl of the dlc home then turned her into a dragon hunter now she stands outside the home watching for dragons all day and night.

Sometimes I have to fast travel a few times for her to show back up. She tends to get lost......ALOT. Either that or you killed her and didnt realize it. Had that one happen a few times too. She likes to walk in front of fireballs.

Maybe she is dead, visit the catacombs of the hall of the dead in whiterun and check if one of the graves contain her stuff.

Yes your spouse can die but you can not remarry unless it is enables by mods.

Have you lost Lydia? Is she nowhere to be found? Or like me did you accidentally kill her?

Here is how you can bring her back:

1: If she is simply missing (not dead) then open the console using the tilde key ~ and then type in the following command:
a2c94.moveto player

This will teleport her to your location (a2c94) is her character ID. This will work for any other follower providing you can find out their character ID.

2: If she is dead (not lost) then open the console using the tilde key ~ and then type the following command:
a2c94.resurrect

This will bring her back to life an she should be standing next to you. If not then try the a2c94.moveto player to bring her to you.

Other commands that may help are:

a2c94.disable
a2c94.enable

These will remove and reset her to default (her inventory and armor will reset to default).

set playerfollowercount to 0

She'll be at Breezehome

FFS! Just teleport to a town and she will apear next to you.... It has always been a standard reset when NPC's get lost or stuck. If she's dead she's dead, plenty more NPCs to hire or use.
