21:9 Small Problem

I am using 3 Asus PG348Q monitors and so far that link up there was a small fix to make the game run in 21:9. I think this fix makes the game run in borderless window mode which is fine. Anyway, I just arrived at whiterun and I talked to the blacksmith woman and she told me to make an iron dagger. As I was creating it, it told me the required level at the bottom of the screen but it was cut out. Is that normal? Is the 21:9 fix perfect? Or almost perfect with cutting some stuff off of the screen. Would love to hear someone else who plays in 21:9 please. Thank you for reading. I look forward to your replies.

you gotta change it in the ini file set bordless to 0 and full screen to 1 that makes it use fullscreen instead of bordless. this is the best we can get for now bethesda couldnt be bothered to make it so the game can use higher resolutions even ultra wide aswell thats bethesdas fault its 2016 and they still havent included it natively.

I'm running 21:9 at 3440x1`440, I'm confused about your question, so your saying you can't see the smithing level? I see it fine on mine.

Yes. I just crafted an iron dagger and it said required level and underneat it was cut off so it did not show it since it was cut off. Also in some dialogue the bottom line is cut off too for example you wont see the letter y properly since it cuts off.

Oh ok now I understand, I don't have that issue. Have you manually changed the resolution in the skyrimprefs.ini? I did that first then downloaded that mod you linked. No issues.

Did you copy the interface folder to the data folder or the stuff inside the interface folder to the data folder?

I just dropped the interface folder straight into the data folder.

Try changing fullscreen to 0 and borderless to 1 and make sure borderless and fullscreen are both checked in the launcher. Edit and yes the folder is correct. Edit again sorry make sure borderless and windowed are checked in the launcher not fullscreen.

I don't think mods will remain but the saves should be fine.

To clear things up

bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1440
iSize W=3440

those are the ini settings

And you need both windowed and borderless checked in the launcher.

the mod will get updated or maybe just maybe bethesda will bring out a patch for it its the same thing for people with 4k displays.
