Achievement mod not working

Fine before. Now when I try to load my game it gives me a warning that achievements are disabled, even though I have the mod installed.

Edit: Working now. Deleted all old files first and extracted mod to data folder.

Go back to nexus and install the update to the achievement mod

If you have a mod installed, then achievements are turned off. nvm, just reread the title, my apologies. Try reinstalling the mod.

Click accept when that message appears and do a simple achievement to see if you installed the enable achievements mod correctly. This happened to me as well

If you see that message, they're disabled. You need to go and get the updated version of the enabler mod.

You mean downlaod the loader.dll again? Done thta and still get the message.

Download the updated mod too. Loader is just the loader, the mod itself needs to be updated too.

Sorry working fine now. Deleted all old files first, then extracted mod to data folder.

...Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\DINPUT8.dll
...Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\AchievementsModsEnabler.dll

That worked for me. I don't know why the author of the mod says to put it in data/Plugins/Sumwunn - it didn't work for me when I put it there.

Are you sure about that, because it's working fine for me in the path that he said to put it in. I updated to the newest version last night, and got an achievement no problem.

I struggled with trying to get the mod working for nearly 2 hrs yesterday. Finally, after almost giving up...I just removed everything I had previously installed...either manually or thru NMM...and started from scratch. I found installing version 1004 first then installing the DLL enabler worked for me...after much frustration!!! Install the mod only from NMM and the DDL enabler manually.

It worked fine before the latest Skyrim SE update.

Are you sure about that, because it's working fine for me in the path that he said to put it in. I updated to the newest version last night, and got an achievement no problem.

When I had it in the root folder, it's been working for me from the start, before the DLL injector was even released. Unless the achievement mod has changed, I don't think DINPUT8.dll is even needed as long as the mod .dll is in the root folder.

Usually all .dll's in the same folder as the .exe get loaded automatically (that's how injectors like SweetFX or ENB work), so I'm assuming this is the case with achievement enabler.

had the mod, worked ok, stopped yesterday, manually d/l new version of dll, and then the mod itself, works fine
