What do you think?

Should Beth overhaul the current cr'ppy bulletspongy Legendary difficulty and make it similar to FO4 version?

Would be awesome. Then I could stop starting my games at level 70 with 500hp on Legendary.

That's how I go about making basically a one shot kill for me and enemys.

I call it Skyrim HC. (Mods required for a true HC mode)

they should focus on updating their engine. Leave the simple stuff like changing difficulty to the modders
Bansheebutt Nov 11, 2016 @ 10:53am
Legendary Damage Modifiers: 25% Dealt, 3x Recieved.
Survival Damage Modifiers: 50% Dealt, 2x Recieved. (Same as Very Hard ftr)

Both are braindead difficulty settings that only serve to make the game frustrating instead of challenging.

(Regarding the damage recieved in Survival being lower, it's important to note that damage values in Fallout 4 are typically much higher than anything in Skyrim. Also, Enemies in Fallout 4 have asinine amounts of HP at times, so the extra 25% dealt over Legendary doesn't mean much)

You shouldn't leave changing difficulty to the modders because mods just disable achievements.
Shakaka Nov 11, 2016 @ 10:54am
modders can also enable achievements... get out of here with your nonsense.

No, I think they should just add a Survival mode in addition to the current diffculty settings.

Should yes, but they won't sadly.

But according to you OP, "Legendary > Survival" is not very logical if you call legendary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. :D

Not anymore. Fallout4 survival now raises player damage to 1.5x normal, and enemy damage is still 2.0x normal I think.

Have you been living under a rock by chance? The Survival Mode in Fallout 4 has been updated long time ago, and it isn't no longer just a braindead difficulty setting.

Your damage increases over time the more you kill, you generally do more damage by base-wise but so do enemies, no fast travel, requirement to eat, drink, and sleep, a overhaul disease, drugs, and drinks system, and so on.

The OP of this thread is probably ask for something like that for Skyrim.

Legendary works fine for me. I just avoid tough fights in the beginning of the game to minimise tedious battles against certain enemies. This allows me to have fun with sneaking amd invisibility potions.

You can get creative though. I used a shout to throw an almost invincible enemy of a mountain and that did the trick. I led a band of bandits to a giant.

And later on in the game my character can do massive damage. Try a bow that does over 500 damage (smithing plus enchanting) with a triple damage sneak attack and a 100 percent extra damage potion. That's a massive 3000 points of damage with one shot. More with a critical hit.

But that's no balance, that's just gamebreaking. It's working, but is that fun?

I feel like changing a few numbers is a bad way to adjust difficulty. Higher difficulties should mean smarter enemies with more tactical group compositions and teamwork. Just imagine how it would change difficulty if a mage would choose to use flames on the ground around you or an archer shoots down a lantern to ignite oil once you step into it, then somebody with a greatsword comes to attack you from a corner behind because you are distracted by the person who just set you on fire.

Mods bro, just earlier I was quickly killing a Draugr scourge and a Dragur with a bow came out around a corner, shot a lantern above me, ignited the oil floor and I pretty well insta died.
Also not like achievements actually matter for anything, but if it's that important just use the achievement enabler.

Do you even know what ' >' means?

1000 damage is nothing versus level 40+ enemies in Legendary. And they are everywhere when you are level 60.
