Graphical Artifacts all of a sudden.
So today i started up skyrim se and now i have graphical artifacts. When near fire i get red circles poping up all over my screen. i also ocassionally get black lines and different colored shapes that pop up for a split second. i also occasionally get grey squares that usualy show up when looking at distant terrain. I diabled all my mods. i still get the issue. I tried verifying the game and checking for a ghraphics driver update. Any help anyone could give would be great. not sure If my graphics card is dying but that's not an issue i just ordered a better one online and i'll get it in about 5 days. But i dont't want to wait 5 days to play skyrim.

You're gonna be waiting 5 days to play skyrim. Its not an issue with skyrim but with the card. The best you can do is play on a lower resolution and as low as settings as you can go. The less the card has to work the better

why does it sound like it's dying to you? I don't have much experiance with graphica cards failing i've always upgraded before i had a problem. I have a gtx 960 so i should be able to run ultra setting just fine. i will absoultly not play on low setting, ultra is already hard enough too look at.

A graphics card could fail for a whole bunch of reasons but the outcome is usually the same. You get graphical glitches "artifacts" randomly when playing games of certain graphical power per say. If playing it on a lower setting is to off puttting for you then your're waiting a week till the new card comes in.

Oh that sucks then. I guess in the mean time i'll test out of other games to see if i get the same issue maybe it is a problem with skyrim this game has caused me nothing but problems sense day 1. for every problem i fix i get 3 more.

Thanks for the help too. I figured it was dying andd i wanted a 2nd opinion.
I am having issues today with the lighting effects that i have never seen before in this & the original game.Personally i don't think my video card is dying, this is what i see:

I also saw a similar effect from the tower that you have your 1st dragon battle near whiterun.
It's not easy to take a pic cause it keeps moving around all over the screen.
Any idea's as to WTF is going on ?
I am running 2 gtx 970's & haven't had issue's like this in any other game.

I have never used mods with skyrim, I am running it vanilla until i see ppl saying there's plenty of good mods that work fine with this "special edition".
I will try to take more pic's of an out door area during the night.
Thanks in advance.
