I wonder if there's an ini tweak for it? Too lazy to google it myself.
Because it makes movement more mechanical and it interferes with sprinting short distances in combat because you have to fight the auto sprint. It also ruins the quick transition from sprinting to sneaking because until you stop sprinting the sneak key rarely processes which ruins immersion.
The only positive thing is you can auto sprint, but really how useful is that when your stamina drains so quickly while sprinting. I would rather have responsive controls when controlling my character.
They need to fix it so when you press the sneak key it disables auto sprint and you go into sneak mode quickly or give us an option to deactivate the sprint toggle and use hold to sprint.
And before someone checks my profile age I've been gaming since before steam existed. My old account was linked to an email address I stop using whilst I worked really long, stupid hours that pretty much destroyed anytime I had for gaming. I opted for ps2 and ps3 for simpler/quicker gaming when possible and couldn't remember login details or access old account when I came back to pc thanks to a career change.
Gimme hold to sprint please. Original ps3 and pc version was push to sprint. Spent hundreds of hours playing Skyrim and I hold to sprint is second nature to me. Muscle memory, instinct, almost automatic.
Did I miss something here? Where exactly does it say Skyrim is a console port to PC?
It is just how it works these days, people blame console everytime there is a problem with the game even if they clearly dont know much about the game and console ports...
