Windhelm buildings disappearing
So I recently got a new PC and installed SSE to it and I had all my mods on an external drive and used NMM to reinstall them all and used LOOT to sort them. All the mods I had worked perfectly fine before and I have no new mods. But when I got to windhelm, it looks like this:

I don't have open cities skyrim or anything like that, and the only texture mod I have is the Static Mesh Improvement mod, which I'm not sure even touches building stuff. I have no city overhauls or retextures of any sort.

I also had an issue with whiterun building textures being stuck on low LOD but they never disappeared and that seems to have fixed itself at this point. I don't spend much time in windhelm but if I do any quests in here they would all be pretty much broken.

Any help would be great!

upon more playing it seems that one of the stone pillars in Solitude's Winking skeever is missing and some of the rock textures on the ceiling are freaking out and switching between what looks like stone bricks and cobblestone.

Thisi s very confusing because it does this even with Static mesh mod off and I have no other texture mods, and steam says all my files are verified.
This is what I always try when having trouble with a modded Skyrim game. Here are some of the things I would try.
1.Start a new game with a new player. This might refresh the games landscape making all buildings reload and refresh.
2.If^^^ does not work then sadly you might have to delete all your mods. This is a last choice but will almost gurentee fixing the problem.
3.Another solution is reseting your game games original settings back to default. This may work but probably wont.
4.Re-installing Skyrim Special Edition.
5.Last resort but this will fix it is deleting all mods and re-installing Skyrim. This gives Skyrim a complete restart and fresh slate.

Hope one of these solutions worked for you!

It sounds like you incorrectly installed the MOD on your computer or the texture is corrupted and not displaying right. What is your System Specs by chance? This specific Modder has stop working on this so there will be no fix for this issue by him.

Its definately not my specs at fault lol

I have a GTX 1070, an I7 7700k (quad 4.2ghz) and 16gb DDR4 RAM.

Like I said I had my mod files stored on my external drive, then redownloaded Skyrim then reinstalled the mods, all were working correctly before I switched PCs. I even tested with Static mesh mod off and it still has this problem.

Guess I could try reinstalling the game again, its acting like its missing assets or something even though the file verification says its fine.

So I kind of had a DUH moment

in the models and textures tab of NMM there was a mod called "touch of color" which i could have SWORN was my eye-reskin but apparently it messed with more than that, but even so, why would it make stuff disappear?

Usually conflicting texture mods just try to overwrite each other and you see flickering textures, not entire assets disappearing lol.

Well that solves this situation....for now. Thanks.

The asset is still there you just cant see it because of the broken skin. Can you still enter the houses with this bug?

I have this with Fallout 4, but only use my own mods, and none of my mods touch what's broken.
It started with Nuka World: I can't even see the buildings in the main part of the wasteland where you enter the NW DLC. I see people walking on air, a door here and there, but 98% of the assets are missing.

It might be the Pascal architecture, since I'm using a Titan Xp.

Everything was gone and I could walk through stuff like it wasnt, even there. The tavern had missing floor sections that the player and NPCs would fall right through. But yea the load doors worked, but inside most buildings was broken too.

But like I said, the issue seems to be resolved at the moment.
This is happening to me too, exactly the same... but I don't have 'touch of color'. Any advice would be great :)

If you read this post it was do to a conflicting MOD that was installed.
